Bank for Nature is recruiting a volunteer News & Content Writer to help build our newsroom and develop thought leadership on the urgent need for the financial sector to accelerate the transition to more sustainable, animal-friendly food systems.

If you’re passionate, ambitious, and eager to address neglected global challenges, apply today. We are looking for the right applicant to be able to dedicate at least 5 hours per week. Flexible opportunities for both long-term and shorter commitments are available.

Bank for Nature aims to harness the power of the financial sector to fast-track the shift to sustainable food systems - moving capital away from factory farming and towards nature-positive solutions.
We drive change by:
• Exposing greenwashing and empowering individuals to move their money away from banks that finance factory farming.
• Making mass consumer engagement simple by enabling thousands to easily demand divestment and catalyse systemic change.
• Highlighting the serious financial risks posed by factory farming, urging banks and investors to protect nature and their portfolios by accelerating the food transition.

• Have a bias towards action and delivering impactful work.

• Identify, track and report on key news, trends, and breakthroughs at the intersection of nature, finance, and factory farming.
• Write engaging, SEO-friendly articles and build a loyal readership.
• Advance thought leadership in “Factory Farm Finance” and help to build the profile of Bank for Nature in this area.
Desired Skills
• Strong writing, research, and journalistic skills.
• Understanding of SEO
• Ability to turn complex topics into engaging and accessible stories.
• Motivated to find innovative solutions to maximise impact and engagement, where this improves the effectiveness of Bank for Nature’s work
